The Noblesse HR universal collector array has five detector channels, each switchable between Faraday and electron multiplier detection. This allows users to optimise ion collection for different sample sizes and isotope compositions.
The fixed collector design is supported by zoom optics, which adjust dispersion for multicollection across different noble gases. Ne can be measured in full multicollection, all Ar isotopes can be measured in one mass step, Kr in two steps and Xe in three.
The note also highlights low-noise Faraday amplifiers, improved pumping and a unique source that varies resolving power and sensitivity without moving parts. Together, these features support flexible, high-resolution noble gas analysis.
