Nanoparticle signals in ICP-MS are short, often lasting only hundreds of microseconds. Conventional millisecond dwell times may miss important signal detail, while shorter dwell times can create new challenges in data volume and dynamic range.
Attom ES can acquire single ion data with dwell times as low as 10 μs without interruptions. Multiple methods can be linked together, allowing samples to be analysed under different conditions in an automated sequence.
