High resolution ICP-MS applications often require detection of both major and trace elements within a single analytical run. Achieving this demands a detector system with a wide dynamic range and stable calibration.


The Attom uses a unique attenuation system that extends pulse-counting performance without relying on analogue detector modes. Calibration data were collected over approximately one month.


Results showed that attenuation factors remained mass independent and stable to better than 1% RSD throughout the study period. This supports confident analysis of samples with widely varying concentrations.
