Stable sample introduction is essential for obtaining reliable ICP-MS results. Variations in nebulisation, sample matrices and instrumental factors can affect long-term performance.
The Attom HR-ICP-MS was evaluated over extended analytical periods using both traditional wet plasma and desolvated dry plasma sample introduction systems. Multiple rhenium standards were analysed without user intervention.
Signal stability remained excellent throughout the experiments, with relative standard deviations below 2% for wet plasma and below 3% for dry plasma. These findings support routine high-precision analytical applications.
